Who'll play the princess?

Picture this: A princess, banished from her magical land, suddenly lands up on the streets of modern-day Manhattan. The story takes a turn when the princess falls in love with a man, a charming lawyer. Interesting idea, isn't it? That's the plotline of three Hindi films, all in various stages of pre-production.

Bollywood has, most of the times, looked at Hollywood for inspiration. A number of dream merchants in Mumbai have plagiarized Hollywood films successfully. The latest Hollywood film that has captured the imagination of Mumbai-based makers is the recent hit ENCHANTED.

A top maker is keen on casting a top Khan in the role of a lawyer and has three choices for the role of the princess: Kajol, Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor. The other maker wants to make the subject with newcomers, since he feels that procuring the dates of saleable actors will be time-consuming. The third maker has already signed two medium-budget stars for the film and is expected to begin filming shortly. He has also altered the script slightly.

Let's see who wins this race… and which film 'enchants' the viewer the maximum?

Koool...But i havent yet seen Enchanted.Is it nice? ...I hope its Kajol and Aamir or Salman or Saif...wow! lets hope they cast her....

enchanted is a great film!!! my sisters and I loved it. but it is made by disney with the princess in it, very much a disney character who becomes more and more real as the story progresses.

I loved Enchanted but It wouldn't be cool or believable as a Bollywood movie. Cause Bollywood doens't have the legacy of typical Hollywood Disney films. And that's exactley what Enchanted is about. It takes a spoof on the Disney movie genre.

Enchanted is a great film. But don't see this happening although its very interesting if it does, but it requires a GOOD director to make it come alive properly.

Wow - you took the words right outta my mouth! It just wouldn't work in Hindi cinema..it would be weird :P
BUT it would be so CUTE to see Kajol in that type of role - she really would excel IMO.

The movie was good but i never thought that Bollywood makers would be highly interested to remake it :wonder:

shes definately in u me aur hum and in toonpur ka super hero, i wud love to see her as sita in raj kumar santoshi's ramyana and also in kjo next, but hmmm, also this film idiots with aamir, oh now what a movie thatwud be , i just hope she does it, really....

while i was searching through different web sites i have seen lots of Ash. and Kareena's fans who say that Kajol is not the suitable actress for this movie because she is old and not beautiful as Kareena?? or Ash!!
but i simply said to them ok if you think that Kajol is not the suitable actress to play a role of a PRINCESS you are right , do you know why???? because our KAJOL is the Queen of Bollywood and if she didn't get the role it means she deserves a better role.......suits her as the QUEEN.

i'm sick of this jealous people.. mind them that aish is actually 2 years OLDER than kajol... kajol doesnt look old.. she can look young if she was meant to be young in in a film.. but becoz of her effectiveness in delivering her role 4 ex in k3g where she plays kareena's sister n hrithik's sis in law people stick in thier mind that she was actually older than this younger gen. even hrithik is actually the same age with her..
