The project I'm referring to has zinta n saif in the lead. The movie title still undecided. It will b a while before the movie goes to the floors. But for those of you, who enjoys yash raj movies and/or luved saif-n-zinta interactions in KHNH, this movie will b worth the wait... atleast let's hope :wink: :wink:

Newcomer Siddharth Anand's maiden directorial venture for Yashraj has been titled 'Salaam Namaste'. It is an effervescent love story, which features Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta. For those who don't know, Siddharth Anand is Kunal Kohli's assistant and the co-screenplay writer of 'Hum Tum'.

Yashraj Production's 'Bunty Aur Babli', directed by Shaad Ali of 'Saathiya', will hit the silver screen this May 27th.

Music directors Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani are excited over being signed on for a Yashraj banner film starring Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta.

"It is a privilege working with the banner. While working on the compositions for the film with director Siddharth Anand and Aditya Chopra we saw their great level of commitment and focused approach. It was an all new experience," Vishal said.

Referring to the music for "Karam", the duo said: "Working with a stylized director like Sanjay F.Gupta was a great challenge.

"It meant stretching our creative imagination to new heights to get a musical score that went with the making of the psycho-thriller 'Karam'," they said.

The composers are known for their widely acclaimed "Jhankar Beats" and the recently released "Musafir".

For the number "Le Ja" in "Karam", Sanjay prodded the duo to experiment further, till he was convinced the composition blended with the backdrop of the film.

"He insisted that it should be more eerie and twisted. We kept working on it until the three of us were thoroughly convinced that it matched the situation in the film," Vishal recalled.

They have other interesting projects lined up including Sujoy Ghosh's comedy "Home Delivery".

"From 'Pyar Mein Kabhie Kabhie' to 'Jhankar Beats' and the recently released 'Musafir' and 'Shabd', it has been a fairly rewarding phase in our career. Besides we have got a very good feedback for the music of 'Karam'," said Vishal.

Their "Allah ke Bande" number in "Waisa Bhi Hota Hai" shot up the popularity charts.

Preity Zinta signs another Yashraj film

Preity Zinta, who says she gets nightmares every night after having narrowly escaped a blast in Colombo, has been signed on to play the lead in another Yashraj production after "Veer-Zaara".

To be directed by a newcomer, Siddharth, the film will feature Preity opposite her favorite co-star Saif Ali Khan.

The actress, who has just returned rattled and shaken from the Colombo concert that featured actor Shah Rukh Khan, is very excited about her new assignment.

"The minute I heard the director narrate the script, I knew I wanted to do it. I've been listening to so many scripts lately, but I hadn't signed anything after "Veer-Zaara". This Yashraj film will take me beyond what I've already done. That's the only reason for me to take on a new assignment. It has to take me beyond where I've already been."

That's exactly what Karan Johar's next, in which she is paired with Shah Rukh Khan, promises to do.

"These are the only two projects I've on hand. And they'll keep me busy for the most of next year," says Preity while shooting a new ad.
